Myko+ is live

The Myko app retired on the 31st January 2026.

If your devices were connected to Wi-Fi on the 31st January, there may be an opportunity to recover them. Any devices not connected to Wi-Fi, can still be used, but without their smart functionality.

We sincerely apologise for any disruption this transition may have caused and understand how frustrating this situation has been. We're here to support you.

Please follow the video below.

Please note: This process does not apply to Alarm Kits or Remotes.

Add your devices to Myko+

If your devices have stopped working, due to not migrating, you will need to add them to the Myko+ app. All you need to do is:

  1. Download the Myko+ app from the App Store or Google
    Play.
  2. Open the app and create a new account.
  3. Follow the in‑app steps to add your device.

New Device Updates

Your device may have been updated automatically. To keep using them on Myko+, you’ll need to create an account and add your devices again.
If your device no longer works in the old Myko app, it was likely updated. To confirm, install the new Myko+ app and try adding your device.

This is because the previous app is no longer available, so devices need to be added again in the new app, Myko+. This reconnects them to your new account and allows you to control them normally.

Your device will work in the same way once it’s added again. However, settings such as schedules and automations created in the previous app won’t be carried over and will need to be set up again.

If your account was moved after devices were updated automatically, those devices won’t appear in your account. To use them again, you’ll need to add each device in the app.

Device Setup:

Myko products require access to a 2.4GHz network. Make sure your Myko product is within range of your Wi-Fi signal. The Myko app will display only 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks that your Myko product can detect. If you do not see your Wi-Fi network listed, make sure your Wi-Fi router has a 2.4GHz network enabled.

To move and update your Bluetooth devices (such as a Remote or PIR Sensor), they must be connected to the internet. These devices don’t have built-in Wi-Fi, they need to connect through a Wi-Fi-enabled device. To connect your Bluetooth device, please follow these steps:

  • From your device list, tap your Bluetooth device.
  • Select Wi-Fi Gateway.
  • Choose a device from the list — only online devices can be used as a Wi-Fi gateway.
  • Tap Set.

Your Bluetooth device is now connected to the internet via the selected device.

What's Changed:

Yes. Your energy monitoring history will be moved to keep continuity:

Past 2 years: monthly data (for yearly graphs)

Past 3 months: daily data

Last 48 hours: hourly data (for detailed daily views)

Your lights will move, but saved colours and presets won’t. You can easily recreate them in the new app.

Voice assistance will not automatically transfer, you need to re-link your voice assistant in order to use it again. The date in which you'll be able to do this will vary depending on the device.
